So what's happened in 12 months, then?
- public wikis, higher profile, free wiki farms with wysiwyg etc : eg pbwiki wikispaces jotspot socialtext wikia editthis etc
So you don't need the level of expertise previously required to start up a new wiki. Hence 'everyone can have their own wiki' and talking about 'blogs and wikis' in the same breath.
- amongst second wave adopters, Wikipedia is being called just "Wiki" as in "Wiki says this", "I checked it on Wiki"
