For ease of reference - this is an excerpt from the National Gerbil Society's charter, setting out the objectives of the society, which should serve as a guide to all of us:
2. OBJECTIVES
(a) to promote the keeping breeding and exhibiting of Mongolian Gerbils and other species of gerbils and jirds.
(b) to publish the definition of the true type as the only recognised and unvarying standard by which these animals shall be judged and to adopt standards relating to several varieties.
(c) to support shows and take all necessary steps to advance and promote the interest of these animals and their exhibition.
(d) to urge the adoption of the standards of excellence upon breeders, judges and show committees as the only criterion of merit in breeding and awarding prizes.
(e) to foster and maintain a high standard of excellence in judging and show management.
(f) to promote education concerning the proper care of gerbils and knowledge of gerbils generally.
from Eureka's web site:
GENERAL TIPS:
- Use a ground cloth under the tent whenever possible. If you choose, Eureka! has pre-cut sizes. If not, trace the tent on the ground cloth and cut smaller than the tent footprint to avoid having it act as a water collector. Ground cloths are easier and less expensive to replace than torn tent floors.
- Try not to wear shoes inside your tent.
- Bring a small rug or mat to put inside the tent door to wipe off mud and catch sand.
- Sweep the tent floor daily to prevent damage from stones.
- Do not keep food inside the tent. Hungry critters will chew through the tent fabric in search of a snack.

Campaign
About TEN campagn to unprivatise our group
This group has been sabotaged by somebody who doesn't want shared admin groups to succeed.
We believe that FLICKR should make an exception to the irreversible "go private" rule and unset the private flag, permanently for this group and for any other public group which doesn't want to be vulnerable to this kind of sabotage.
Please help to build our campaign by submitting a request along the lines written above to Flickr owners at:

We shall return
Previous Charter
About TEN the shared admin scoring group- 1 photo / per day http://flickr.com/groups/1for10/
★ These are the only hard and fast rules :
-NO MORE THAN 1 PHOTO PER DAY ( your best photo ) -POST 1 / SCORE THE PREVIOUS 10 PHOTOS soon ( if you don't score the previous 10 photos, your photo would be remove. )
★ Suggestions :
-CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM IS WELCOME IN ADDITION TO SCORES -DO NOT DELETE SCORES -DO NOT DELETE COMMENTS -ALL PHOTOS WELCOME. INCLUDING TASTEFUL NUDITY
★ This is what you need to copy :
Score __/10 (from the TEN group).
" Copy and paste the above line into your comments for the 10 photos. To copy and paste, highlight the text from S to . and then press CTRL+C on your keyboard, then to paste it into the comment, press CTRL+V. "
★ The Rating Scale :
Post 1 and rate the previous 10 photos out of 10. 10 being the best and 1 being poopy. After posting a photo, you must grade out of 10, the 10 photos that came before you. no body care this, so just post 1 per day is enough. thank you !
If you favorite a photo, count it as 11/10. All fave's should automatically be rated 11/10, but do not rate a photo as 11 unless you favorite it.
REMEMBER : The idea of this group is feedback. So after you score a photo, feel free (feel encouraged even) to give a reason why you love or hate or just like the photo. As for what is meant by scores between 2 through 9, that's up to you as the scorer. And if a scorer doesn't explain the score, then you're equally free to interpret the meaning. We're only defining what a 1, 10 and 11 mean.
Version Control
The multiple admins are able to edit this group description, and previous versions can be viewed and discussed on a wiki page, see URL below
other note : We've got a lot of Admins for this group and we're making that work to the advantage of all who post here. Everybody needs to abide by the 'Post 1/Score the Previous 10' rule. Everyone who is an Admin shares the responsibility of enforcing the rules and ensuring photos get scored. If anybody doesn't comment, their photo will be removed. If you don't want to use the powers of the Admin, you don't have to. If you don't want to be one of the Admins, you may resign and rejoin the group, but you may eventually be promoted again. We're taking a very egalitarian approach to this group. The ultimate success of this group is left to those who choose to be part of it. Please help to promote others to Admin, so that the sharing spreads far and wide. If every current admin promotes 5 others then we can mop up the whole membership in just a few days.
Note: Members can post 1 photo to the pool each day.

Origins
colinpeddle Pro User says:
Good job whoever has taken the go ahead and turned this group into something respectable.
The other day, I came home from work and I was bored. I looked at flickr and decided I was tired of receiving emails from this group about this and that. I was also tired of trying to find admins. So I figured either A> the group is just going to fail eventually anyway or B> the group will stay the way it is, neither of those options combined with my being annoyed with trying to find admins, jived too well.
SOoooooooooooooooo, I took an idea i'd seen on a group before and decided just to give admin status to the first few pages of people in the members list. I knew either the group would die faster, stay as bad as it is or hopefully, someone would grab the bull by the horns and run with it.
I am quite glad this is what happened. To this I say, BRAVO to him/her or them.
This will hopefully prove to be a great example for other flickr groups out there which are ruled by 3 or 4 admins.
Good Luck.
