For e.g. an artist creation may sell for millions of dollars; while the labour, material and capital involved in creation of same is dismally low. The buyer&#039;s wealth may have eroded by miniscule proportion, but the artist may have gained riches of unimagined heights. 

Further on, these riches are not applied in future artworks. Hypothetically, artist dies without expending much of wealth and there are no kin’s to claim the riches. Money goes to charitable trusts via government intervention.
