Even though I am not a Christian and would consider myself a true pagan we should keep these celebrations it is a great shame that so many Brits are not patriotic which should be the heart of St George day.

Imagine no St Patrick's Day although both of these events have roots in Christianity removing Pagans from the lands St Patrick with the snakes (pagans) and St George with the Dragon (pagans) it is still history and legend to be celebrated, especially as the St George Cross is the rightful flag of Britain.

As a world we are becoming far to PC, living in Australia at the moment it is a great shame that even at Christmas time our cities are not the show of colour and celebration as we do not want to offend the non christians. That is just not right, I am not christian but you cannot simply wipe out such events on the notion of PC correctness.

Especially as our cities celebrate Ramadan and The Chinese New Year more so than Christmas which is wrong on so many levels.

Fly the flag paint your face, be proud to be British be proud of an empire and history to great kings, do not lose your identity any more than has already happened.
