The barhead or barheaded goose is an exotic species, probably an escape but there are reports of some breeding in the UK. They are specially adapted for flying at altitude, migrating over the himalayas at 26,000 feet on a regular journey from Tibet to Pakistan!
This one is hanging out with the greylag geese at Alexandra Lake on Wanstead Flats, East London. It doesn’t seem to cohort with the Canada geese though.
