When the new improved bench is eventually returned, we will of course erect a new notice board in order to alert you of the news that the sitting facility has been resumed.

This sign is very important! At least in any big USA city it would be. It alerts the police that the bench has, in fact, NOT been stolen. And, more importantly, it alerts the criminals that there will be a new bench available shortly to be stolen. Very important. ROFL!
