The reserve I specified was £100 but I would probably come down a little bit and agree to sell in an auction that peaks just below. I’ll let you know when I decide to relist. Or I could just keep the lighter.

HI, I was the highest bidder. Let me know if you are looking to relist the lighter on Ebay or selling elsewhere. How much were you looking for? My highest bid was £65 but there was no one else up against me to push it up. Not that it would have made much difference!!! If you can give me an idea of your price, maybe we can sort something out.

There’s a few extra ‘promotion’ options on eBay (make item bold, etc), but I’m not sure how much they help, and they cost extra… I guess you could do some off-eBay promotion on forums and the like…

eBay keeping sending me e-mails trying to persuade me to lower the reserve (which can be done up until the auction ends). I haven’t done that - but let me know if you want to. I guess the price will sneak up a bit in the last few minutes…
