I love these shots-I flew over Greenland one long trip and it was stunning-I didn’t have a camera then, but not sure I could have captured its vastness and beauty
Mm, I remember flying to Alberta, Canada once, taking a very northern circle, and seeing what was probably Greenland. From the coast, the land began with snow capped mountains, and then the valleys started to fill up with snow drifts. After a few mintues the mountains were just peaks with huge snow fields between them and then eventually the peaks sank beneath an uninterrupted white blanket.
Wow-that’s exactly it-I didn’t attempt to describe it!! I can still see it behind my eyes-so so beautiful-I’d like to go there some day to see what it’s like at ground level!

“what it’s like at ground level!”
A bit chilly I should imagine.
Greenland is the only country to leave the EU, obtaining some sort of Independence from Denmark in 1985.
