Posted by Andy Roberts in : meta-blog , trackbackI’m coming up to my 100th blog entry, for which I shall be writing a short reflection on how the blog has developed and where it may be leading me. So I’d like to invite general feedback from any readers who may be out there. Which sort of articles do you prefer, what works and what doesn’t - what would you like me to post more of in the next 100? It would be great if you can take a couple of minutes to do that, please. Use comments, trackbacks or if you prefer email me at aroberts@gmail.com.

I struggle with the video on dial up - if I give up work then Broadband is probably out of the question! - I often don’t bother to wait for them to load - sorry!
Having said that I’m intrigued by the O2 entry and will definitely look at that one.
Is it like the old rotating victorian cylinders with a slot in it or more like ‘what the butler saw’?
I like articles that express ideas.
I like the videos and photos because you often link them to ideas. Probably they also appeal because I’m a very visual person. Having said that some of the most interesting postings are exploring an idea you’ve had or form part of a reflection.
I suppose I mean that I like the mixture, videos and photos, ideas and more personal postings. I’m not too keen on blogs where every posting is the same style and you learn nothing about the person.
My preference is very close to Linda’s. I lose interest fast if it’s just ideas and I don’t get a sense of who you are. I also prefer smaller entries. I know it’s a bad habit, but I just don’t read the longer ones properly. I also like it when you ask for feedback or the answer to a question.
I like the videos but not the tedius ones. Some more high quality photos would be good.
But yeah, blog entries which explore new ideas or suggest new things are always good.
I like short, not too technical articles. (I don’t read all of your entries, often because of the length… Shame on me!)
About new ideas etc.: same as the others.
I am often lazy to run the videos, too!
On the whole, I find your blog interesting because there are many different themes, some professional, some personal.
Many thanks to some of my regular commenters for your appreciated feedback. Now I wonder if any of ‘they-who-lurk’ might feel inspired to pipe up just for once?
No? Oh well, never mind.
