Alliterative addiction September 10, 2004

Posted by Andy Roberts in : Uncategorized , trackback

Chelmsford chapter champions chew choice chances.
Wanting wonderful writing, wishing ways with words
But busy brains bear banale basics
Tempting technical training to trace two tracts
So students sorrow seldom seems scarce
Alternative adherants ask for answers and actions
Having helical hassiendas hinders helpful hearts
Quietly querying quixotic quirks.

( I haven’t got a clue what this is all for, but I thought i’d join in anyway )

apparently adversely able alliteration addicts appear alienated after Andy’s admirable alliterative attempts attract attentive audiences…

..how terrible… I really must get back to studying soon! Is alliteration based on sounds or purely consonants…? I wasn’t sure about the ‘writing’ in yours Andy or the ‘audience’ in mine!

According to Wikipedia, there are at least two types:

“Alliteration can be either assonance, using repeated initial vowel sounds, or consonance, using repeated initial consonant sounds.”
