Neil, thank for your comments. I don't think setting up a new blogdrive gets you a gmail invite and I've used up my two invites on my sons. I don't think it will be too long though, before gMail is available to the world at large,
I wonder, if pupils and staff set up independent blogs about the school, and these are more lively than the locked down official school site, there's not a lot the authorities can do about it is there?

Andy, have read your blog with interest & have spent the afternoon adding those "killer apps" - now I have a wealth of tools at my disposal its a case of finding out which is the most efficient! Anyway, I would like to give gmail a go. I've posted a blog at blogger.com - http://edubloguk.blogspot.com/ How do I get my self an account?

I've been in regular contact with Peter Ford & there is a lot of great work being discovered out there at the moment. I wish i could post more regularly but I'm waiting for the green light on a blogging project at my school - http://www.bcpsweblogs.org/

Keep up the good work

How do you get a gMail account if you're not a blogger account holder? Know someone who is. I just noticed i've been given the chance to invite two people to sign up to gMail beta.
