Paddington Station - that’s about it so far
Oxford?
Well done Cathy, you win the cigar.
Oh dear, no cigar for me then - just as well I gave them up for Lent
I felt sure I’d spotted a golden brown bear with a suitcase and a marmalade sandwich in one of those photos.
The Paddington Bear statue is there, yes! And one of the clocks, the biggest one is there too. Paddington Station means a lot to me because it’s the departure point not only for Oxford but also South Wales and Cornwall. And the original Isambard Kingdom Brunell architecture can still be appreciated unlike at Liverpool St Station where the cathedral like space has been broken up by a mezzanine floor.
Mo, I think you should have won the cigar… You are a much better clock spotter than me. I just happened to have read “Fortis est veristas” on the fifth clock. I fed google with the motto. There I was! Easy to become a smoker, eh?
Hope you don’t mind Andy I have borrowed your “boring students” image for the new header for my blog:-)
