Laminating machines are always breaking down or getting jammed. But the good news is that they don’t have any computers in them yet, so you can fix them with a screwdriver, rather than have to wait 3 months for a firmware upgrade or anything like that. It’s just a heater, a pair of rollers and a motor connected by a bicycle chain.

Congrats - aren’t you a handy andy?
Have you used a laminator much? There must be some innovative ways you could put it to use…
The worst thing is when some one ( like me) forgets that the A4 laminator needs to be used with a carrier. The plastic sheet goes in & nothing comes out except a vile smell of melting plastic. Luckily, you are right Andy , they are quite easy to fix- even when you have solidified the plastic sheet round the roller! It’s that awful feeling as it goes in & you suddenly remember…….
