It was a scene of devastation.

Whatever kind of ‘thing’ may have done this, it wasn’t like anything we have experienced on earth before.
I was glad to have arrived what must have been several minutes after they left, goodness knows what might have happened to me otherwise. The only clues as to where they may have come from were a bowl of half eaten green nuggets and small unworldly audio/optical device which had been clumsily dropped into a wastebin and covered with slightly damp blue tissue paper. I plugged the alien device into my Mac OSX computer and amazingly it recognized it!
