The birds, fish, frogs, toads, newts, dragonflies and other occasional visitors enjoy this spot too! This year we've robins nesting in the jasmine above the bench so that should be fun. And I'm guessing lots of other creatures get to call it home too! Listening to the birds here is one of the ways I've felt more connected to the earth, and that's something I'll be able to take with me if and when I go, even if I can no longer see the hills and river... much as I love them. A blog is a good place to feel at home too, and I'm glad Amy's post got you writing here :-) I get a good feeling from that picture of your back garden.
