In this bitter winter it’s really important to keep putting out food and water for the birds. Andy braved the snow in our garden yesterday to make sure ours had a little extra to eat.
We’ve already got lots of feeders but yesterday we put out a mix of meal worms and a high energy suet mix in a tray. The robins quickly found it and tucked in. One stayed to defend it for a while but eventually the great tits, blue tits, starlings and blackbirds all managed to tuck in.
