Impact rattles on -ironic really - I was away for a week and the Classroom Displays Blog got 1000 hits for the first time and another interesting person blogged it. I’ve admired Dr Joolz’s blog for ages, she’s really hot on visual literacy and blogging.

So it is an image; it is sewing - a patchwork; it is written text; it is poetry; it is a wall hanging; it is a picture in Flickr; it is on a blog. Very multi layered. It is a muliti modal text.

it has a healthy 268 - and a blog and some good discussions. A sign of the times, because Flickr now has in excess of two million members. It is hardly a surprise that teachers are using it to network.
So that was great - wish my learning facilitator had understood a bit more about what I was trying to achieve with the blog - Ah well.
BTW there are 46 members in the group and 327 images of displays in the Flickr group as of today.
