Peruvian Display

Peru

Milibuh says:

It’s a great surprise to find this excellent work I am a peruvian teacher so…congratulations.

On Friday, when I’m back in school, I’ll show this to the teacher who made the display and see if she’d like to continue the conversation…..

Physical Pilot Exhibition

Presenting my initial research findings to my co-workers today was really hard work. They listened attentively, asked interesting questions, and were generally very kind to me. Bribing them with chocolate cake helped! The main theme that came out of what was said was how much time everything takes. This is one of the things I categorised as being beyond my control but for many of my colleagues it is by far the biggest issue in their interactions with the internet. “It all takes so long” It’s true, it’s amazingly easy to ‘loose’ a couple of hours sitting at the computer.

Pilot Exhibtion

For my degree I am action researching into my provision of educational resources. As part of this I am holding both a physical and an on-line pilot exhibition.
If you have a few moments why not visit and then post your feed back here. I really want to know what you think are the strengths and weakenesses of both the research itself and the presentation. Don’t be shy :-) Critisism not only tolerated but very welcome!

Surviving November

Today is the 18th so that means the first report is due in 10 days. It also means that I am more than half way through this month. The value of what I have achieved in the process is questionable but I have survived more or less intact. Wine and cider are very rare treats, raw foods and taking care of myself are being given a high priority. I have a nasty cold so lots of hot drinks and warm rooms this weekend I think. The pilot exhibition is on Monday.
The title of my research is

An Action Enquiry into the Potential of On-line Tools for the Collaborative Production, Use and Modification of Resources and Learning Objects.

An exploration the impact this could have on cross-fertilisation of educational ideas and the development of self-selected collaborative groups.
